Home Depot needs to call the cops and have him charged with theft.

He's a bully, an idiot, and a thug, but most importantly he's a criminal.

Whether he left the money or not, no sale was made as he didn't pay the agreed upon price. He stole those goods. When HD files their taxes, it's not as though the government doesn't charge them for the tax on that. Or rather... That's how it works for small business. I have no idea what kind of tax breaks they get.
