the game doesn't really have a time limit or lose condition, so you can't really go wrong.
but if you want a fast start:
Nice
I'm doing center, have 2 things done so far
But why upgrade can? My axe and pick are both steel.
Also, what swords are good?
I currently have the obsidian edge
Upgrading the can lets you charge up and water more spots at once (same for the hoe, but thats less important), makes a huge difference to both the energy cost and the time needed to water crops.
You can save your first prismatic shard and have a walk around the desert, it should give you the best sword you can access until late game. The sword you have now is probably good enough until then, but if you like mining and have a lot of cash get the lava katana from the monster hunter club.
Where do I get a prism chard?
I don't have sewer or bus yet
As for cash I spent a lot on seeds for summer y2
Is a big coop a good investment? Or do I go barn first?
You'll get the shard randomly, fighting monsters is the most common but I think you can get it other ways, I would just keep mining, focus in getting the bus fixed (that's the next step after you finish the mines, which it sounds like you are close to) and let yourself get it randomly.
Seeds are definitely your best bet for money early on. It's kind of your choice for barn vs coop upgrades, you need both eventually and they each give you about the same extra money. Make sure to make mayo machines and cheese machines as soon as you can, that will greatly increase the value of your animal products.
I have 2 mayo machines and all eggs go to mayo.
Will try fix bus
