I cannot look at that without thinking about testicular torsion...

It's gets worse since he drops to his knees in that scene.

I know, it was always a source of hilarity for me as a kid. And also as a supposed adult.

Yeah. Losing a beauty/style contest to David Bowie shouldn't really count.

I’ll admit I have no idea who you’ve compared to Jareth, but I still guarantee they’re no contest

Jareth is very clearly blond, not white-haired.

[–] Sanctus@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago

From what we've seen, Jareth is a rogue Q that likes goblins and fantasy.

White haired reality: parenting

I'd say anything from NuTrek movies loses automatically.

[–] ChicoSuave@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago (1 children)

The third NuTrek, the one where no one expected anything good and so was had to ignore anything existing in Trek and create their own story, was actually pretty good. Probably because they had to think for themselves.

[–] JimmyChanga@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Didn't Simon Pegg write that one?a big Trekky writing it probably helped

Abrams was also almost totally uninvolved.
