I have had an obsession with 'toasted' wraps this week. 'Toasted' meaning I am too lazy to get the sandwich press out and clean it so I put a bit of cholesterol spread margarine in a small frying pan.

It came about after I learnt a sandwich shop in Richmond were charging $16 for a tuna melt. I tried making a tuna melt myself. Wasn't the best, but maybe that was because I didn't add lemon juice or celery.

Today was Vegemite and cheese, with a side of vegetables so I could feel better about my choices after consuming potentially too much salt. Cheese and tomato also good despite the water content of tomatoes. I wanna try mushrooms next, but I feel as though they might be too watery. Maybe some chicken.

Place near my work does an amazing cheese and mushroom toastie. They add in pesto and use WAY too much marg, but it's fucking delicious. I might need to go and get one for lunch...

For mushroom and tomatoes, fry/grill them first before putting them into the wrap.

If cleaning is an issue wrap it up in foil and put into the sandwich press assuming it's flat style type of press.

Totally bizarre online Doc appointment this morning. If I pay the extra for out of hours I expect the call to be then, eh? Missing a course I actually really wanted to do. Bollocks.

Thought Iโ€™d get caught in heavy rain on the way home, thankfully it was on little spits of rain though it got dark very quickly.

Really could do without the wind blowing so strong.

With all the talk of Logies on tv I thought Iโ€™d share this gemโ€ฆ

The prices on everything have gone upโ€ฆ Feeling guilty about spending โ€˜unnecessarilyโ€™ even though items werenโ€™t bought for no reason.

spoilerMelbcatโ€™s calming supplement has gone up an eye watering amount and Iโ€™m wondering if she needs it every day. I could have just given her extra of a different medication but this was safer for her.

The โ€˜largeโ€™ litterboxes for senior cats also arrived and they are absolutely tiny. Even with the low side sheโ€™s not going to be able to use them properly much less step comfortably in.

I should have just cut down the sides of her existing ones but the thinner smaller ones tend to overly crack and have sharp edges, and the plastic of the large nursery trays is too thick unless I use a mini hacksaw. Which could be challenging.

I got a tub of Cerave cream because my face is being extra angry (despite me treating it better than I was?) and found one without niacinimideโ€ฆ Hope it at least is tolerable to use, not irritating or too heavy. I really wish I could use sorbolene or cheap vitamin e cream but thereโ€™s something in those that burns my skin.

I have some food grade glycerin that can be diluted 50/50 but that might still sting at this point. Iโ€™m thinking seriously about what else to try. My skin doesnโ€™t react well to oil at all otherwise itโ€™d just be the cheapest coconut oil.
