My sibling used to live in a rural area with a gun range a mile or two away and said there were frequent posts asking if anyone had heard it.
Finally...now we can get such riveting articles like "Was That A Gunshot?", "Anybody Just Hear A Gunshot?" and "Was That Fireworks or A Gunshot?"
