I’d rather they text me than call me, but you’d think they’d explain who they are when reaching out for the first time.
Yeah, there was one time a recruiter just texted me "Is this xxxx ?". If you're gonna cold call/text, introduce yourself immediately on your first message.
I read it as they originally called, then person replies “who diiiiiis” via text as they didn’t answer the call.

It happens a lot by sketchy companies.
I mean, it's fine if I missed their mail or whatever, but it sure would be unusual. Better than calling tho. I hate it when they do that.

The potential means that before he sent the image and the who dis, the interview was gonna happen.
The potential is now gone.
