I'm reading this after I deleted my account. I have no regrets after reading this. Screw them.
Technology
A nice place to discuss rumors, happenings, innovations, and challenges in the technology sphere. We also welcome discussions on the intersections of technology and society. If it’s technological news or discussion of technology, it probably belongs here.
Remember the overriding ethos on Beehaw: Be(e) Nice. Each user you encounter here is a person, and should be treated with kindness (even if they’re wrong, or use a Linux distro you don’t like). Personal attacks will not be tolerated.

Absolutely horseshit and so dumb. This just reinforces my decision to leave. I left the account open but I deleted all of my content (many years worth of posts and comments) on the way out the door.
How are we not seeing news about reddit devs jumping ship? They've got to see that they're fucked with u/spez at the helm
Yeah I was planning on using brave if I ever needed to access reddit on my phone now... this is not good. I refuse to use their terrible app.
They really decided to sink the boat. Such foolish level of unfriendliness to users was not seen since the time Facebook purposefully slowed their app to see how much its public was addicted.
Just deleted the reddit app. Looks like that's gonna turn out to be a great decision as they continually make it worse.
Wait so it just directs you to the app now? they just got tired of updating the mobile website?
I am not aware of Reddit experimenting with blocking mobile browsers. However, it's important to note that information and developments can change over time.
To get the most accurate and up-to-date information about Reddit's policies or any potential changes related to blocking mobile browsers, I recommend checking official Reddit announcements, news articles, or Reddit community discussions that might provide insights into any recent developments. Additionally, you can visit Reddit's official website or their support pages for any official statements regarding this matter.
