It's wild how annexing any part of Germany to create a new Israel was not even mildly entertained. Can't have fellow white Europeans go through the trouble of displacement when they could just forcibly replace brown people instead.

You know it's already too late when corporate institutions that uphold the status quo are sounding the alarms.

Did he just categorize seals as hairless mammals? Because Canadians have slaughtered millions of seals for the fur trade (and still do today).

8 was the beginning of the downfall of the series by rewriting the lore established in volumes 1-3.

Behind that pinkwashed charm offensive with a WOC girlboss at the forefront, this administration is as evil as any that came before it. Cast my mail-in ballot for De la Cruz this morning and will probably never vote Dem again in my lifetime. Just filled with utter disgust.

I always see Sinophobes screeching about how they will never buy a Chinese EV under any circumstances because it will spy on them or be remotely controlled by the SEE SEE PEE. And yet there is zero evidence to back these claims whereas a US ally literally implants bombs inside communication devices to commit mass terror.

Karp is always bragging about his refusal to work with "enemies of the West", as if China is begging to give up their data to a CIA asset.

An executive in an American military contractor that is providing data analytics to the IDF joking about war crimes. This attack could not have been planned and executed so successfully without Palantir's services and they are gleefully celebrating their involvement without explicitly saying so.

One theory I've read is that Mossad somehow infiltrated the company supplying pagers to Hezzbollah and distributed their own weaponized replacements.

Yeah, it's technically illegal to sell blood and plasma but they get around this by paying you for your time instead. Gee, I wonder why this loophole doesn't work for prostitution.

The absurdity is that even if all of those ridiculous claims about immigrant pet eaters was true, the statistical chances of a Haitian eating your dog are infinitesimally smaller than the odds of your child being shot in school.

China isn't just winning, it has actually won. There's just some lag time for its victory to be recognized. America only holds supremacy in naval and air projection, but with our waning industrial output and China closing the technological gap it is a foregone conclusion that they will catch up in a decade or two.

Whatever intern came up with this deserves a raise.

This AI bubble is rapidly accelerating and it will take the entire market (and global economy) down with it. And while Sam Altman didn't singlehandedly ignite the new silicon arms race, OpenAI (and ChatGPT) did usher in the era we are now living in.

Much was said about Nvidia overtaking Microsoft today to become the world's most valuable company, but take a look at the top 3:

They are ALL beneficiaries of partnerships with OpenAI. Microsoft added a trillion dollars of market cap since partnering with them last year and Apple hit new all time highs after their announcement that ChatGPT will power "Apple Intelligence". And Nvidia? Well, they were just a $300 billion dollar video game card maker 5 years ago and now they are the biggest company on earth because their cards train AI models.

I'm just flabbergasted at how quickly and thoroughly the promises made by one small startup has become the economic backbone of the entire stock market. The bubble popping for this hype cycle will be one for the ages.

U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen has called on the European Union to collaborate with the United States in addressing the surge of Chinese green-tech exports, warning that the influx threatens global manufacturing sectors.

Last week, the US administration announced tariffs of 25 percent on steel and aluminum, 50 percent on semiconductors, 100 percent on electric vehicles, and 50 percent on solar panels.

Speaking in Germany this Tuesday, Yellen emphasized the need for a united response to China’s manufacturing dominance to protect industries worldwide, as initially reported by FT.

“China’s industrial policy may seem remote as we sit here in this room, but if we do not respond strategically and in a united way, the viability of businesses in both our countries and around the world could be at risk,” Yellen told FT at the Frankfurt School.

In a speech on Tuesday, Yellen defended the Biden administration’s tariff hikes including a 400 percent increase on China electric vehicles. “The tariff increases are strategic and targeted steps,” she stated. This follows the White House’s tariff adjustments aimed at safeguarding U.S. industry, especially in key electoral states.

In a post on the social media platform X, Joe Biden said that “China is determined to dominate these industries” while enhancing that he is “determined to ensure America leads the world in them”.
