Spoiler TitleI never would have thought the closing of a WWE PLE would be the clip of Joe Hendry turning around and technically he doesn't even work for them. I'm sold on a Hendry Page feud though if that's what we are getting.

I think this is the first time they've done so, but like with the WCW ones I expect more to happen.

No, No, No, No, No

You knew it was bad when they were pelting Mean Gene just because he was close to Hogan.

His Time is Up

His Time was Then

You Can See Him

He's Retiring Now

....

Well at Mania... John Cena announces farewell run from Rumble to Mania next year where he will retire.

EDIT: 2025 is his final year... he's expecting to do about 40 dates next year from January to December and then be done completely, no referee jobs, no cameos, etc. I mean if acting continues to work out, he will have no need to take their money, but man it's hard to believe he'll be able to do what so many others have failed at, actually retire.

I may or may not watch today, but I do have opinions....

Bloodline has to win, they just destroyed Heyman and to cost them at this point is too soon if you want them to continue being monster heels for the eventual, I'm guessing SummerSlam, return of Roman.

Bron is fresh and exciting, but based on being a rookie, I think he loses today from rookie mistakes and wins later, I'm seeing a lot of rematches at SummerSlam on this card.

Women's MITB, I'd love to give it to Naomi, she was so fucking great in TNA compared to her WWE work, but my gut says Tiffy Time is back.

Men's MITB, I'd take Drew or Jey, Gable would be acceptable to me as would L.A. Knight, it depends on if they want to strap a rocket on Carmelo or not, but I just can't see him or Andrade winning, my gut says Drew but I think Punk chicanery happens and it goes to Uso.

World Title, I so want Priest to retain, but I'm thinking Judgment Day/Finn cost him the win and he finally splits off from them. Hope I'm wrong though, I love him as a main character and once he loses I don't know if he gets there again with current bookings.

This should be an automatic impound of the vehicle and when the rep comes to pick it up hand them the ticket. Or you know, make the police send them a damn ticket.

Edit: For spelling purposes.

Edit 2: It's supposed to be ready in about a month, so they must have been working on it or it's being tossed together quickly.

Broadcasting Executive Jamie Kellner, who helped to launch both FOX and the now defunct WB Network passed away this weekend according to multiple reports, including Variety.

In the professional wrestling periphery, Kellner is best known as the executive who took over Turner Broadcasting after parent company Time Warner merged with AOL - making the decision to cancel World Championship Wrestling programming, including Monday Nitro on TNT, Thunder on TBS and WCW Saturday Night.

PWInsider.com has confirmed with multiple sources that WWE's Ricochet has given notice that he intends to exit the company when his current contract expires this summer. We are told that Ricochet is expected to be written out of WWE storylines very soon in advance of the contract expiration. Ricochet is currently part of WWE's Raw brand.

...

One source we spoke with said they were giving Ricochet "all the credit in the world for betting on himself." One would think he'll quickly be a hot commodity as a free agent.

Kingston suffered a tibular fracture working for New Japan Pro Wrestling several weeks back in California.

Kingston confirmed that he suffered tears to his ACL and meniscus as well. They will require surgery.

While Kingston had hoped to be back by AEW's All In: London, his post-surgery recovery will likely mean he will be out closer to nine months.

Next week's scheduled trial against AEW's Daniel "Cash" Wheeler will not go forward, PWInsider.com has confirmed.

This afternoon, the Prosecutor's office filed "Nolle Prosequi."

The Latin phrase is used in court records as a legal notice that the Prosecution in a legal case has opted to drop and abandon the case. There is no word as to why the Prosecutors made that decision or why it took them until the week before the trial to drop prosecution.

As of this morning, there was a pre-trial hearing set for tomorrow afternoon at 2 PM and a trial slated for 5/20. All of that has been canceled. Wheeler's bond has been released and the case was officially closed as of 3 PM this afternoon.

I see.

And because Amazon didn’t instruct employees to preserve messages sent in the app until more than 15 months after it was notified of the investigation

I somehow misconstrued this line into thinking they had been using it for those 15 months and were then notified they weren't supposed to. I screwed up there.

Amazon is just one of several companies recently accused of turning to encrypted messaging apps like Signal that can permanently erase messages automatically.

You may recall the government making similar arguments about Sam Bankman-Fried’s use of Signal during his trial for fraud and how that verdict eventually shook out. Deleted chats were also a sticking point for at least one juror in Google’s recent courtroom loss to Epic Games and came up in the DOJ’s antitrust trial against Google.

So are they using these trials in their crusade against encryption and having articles like this in hopes of turning the public against it? Because it looks like it to me.

The FTC’s lawyers say Bezos, current CEO Andy Jassy, general counsel David Zapolsky, former CEO of worldwide operations Dave Clark, and other execs are all Signal users. Bezos is identified in the document as “a heavy Signal user” who instructed others to use the app, although the 2018 hacking of his personal cellphone may be part of the reason for that.

Then a few paragraphs later they reveal Bezos has been an encryption fan and user of the service for 5+ years while trying to get others to use it... I get it, Amazon is doing shady shit, but this feels to me like the government is trying to get encryption frowned upon.

TKO Group filed a SEC filing this evening, revealing that all of Vince McMahon's remaining stock in TKO Group are now registered for sale, potentially opening the door for McMahon to exit as an owner if all of the stock is eventually sold.

McMahon currently holds about 5% of the stock and has been greatly selling off stock since his resignation for the company, building a massive cash warchest.

At what point do these companies ring the turnip dry? YouTube Premium almost doubled, Netflix cracked down on passwords and increased pricing, and if you didn't like it you could pay a little less if you would just watch some ads, which we joined Netflix to get away from, people didn't care so those ads are now in Prime Video and other companies are joining in too. Disney+, Hulu, Paramount+, and Peacock all had price increases in the last year. At some point, you have to dust off your peg leg and put on a tricorn hat.

This reeks of the same thing Discovery did when it took control of WB's television and movie production, they canned completed projects, canceled upcoming stuff, and had TV shows like "Final Space" that were out for years erased, all so they could claim a tax break and pocket those billions. What a bunch of frelling bastards.
