I think I will never buy a console. They aren't as expensive as good gaming PCs, but way to limited in their capabilities for me. Modding is very cool in many games, and almost never possible on consoles. In addition, waiting a bit after the release is also often a good idea, since bugs will be fixed and if the game is actually shit, you will know that before buying

Ich finde die Idee, Programme zu nutzen die open source sind und dessen Server in der EU stehen echt super. Deshalb bin ich ja auch hier. Das einzige Problem ist nur, dass Messenger und Social Media Netzwerke viele Nutzer brauchen, um neue Nutzer anzuziehen; d.h. die Monopole sind selbst verstärkend. Hier ist das natürlich nicht so schlimm, weil es schon genug communities gibt. Aber insbesondere bei Messengern ist man eben darauf angewiesen, dass Freunde und Kollegen auch dort sind, ansonsten bringt es nichts, selbst dort zu sein.

Definitely. I joined reddit in 2019 because I like the focus on communities and that reddit was almost uncensored. But since the censorship hat drastically increased since then, I left the platform now. And so far, I like it here
