it's not her fault that Veilguard was underwhelming. The studio basically fired all of the people who wrote and worked on the first 3 dragon age games halfway into the development and pushed to turn it into something it wasn't.

They had to restart development and abandon work so many times because of EA being idiots. And then had time crunch to hit a deadline because again, parent company EA is full of idiots. and this was after being originally developed as a Live Service Game

Veilguard had TONS of Development issues and was reworked at one point after it was originally revealed as a Live Service Game and Concord was just Sony wanting to make a Live Service game without making it good

seems like the 3 games they CONSTANTLY point to as "Go Woke, go broke" (Dustborn, Concord and Veilguard) had issues OTHER THAN "Wokeness"

and EVEN THEN Dustborn is pretty much a Niche indie game so, it wouldn't have pulled massive AAA Numbers regardless

the director voluntarily exited BioWare, not fired, and articles specifically state this does NOT mean Veilguard failed to meet sales.

Instead of "it's not for me" it's always "this is horrible". Most of the time I'm on social media I see people talk down to others or ridicule them for liking or enjoying certain games. I get that gamers can be annoying, but it's just so draining sometimes.

If chuds actually gave a shit about Nier beyond 2B's ass they'd absolutely fucking hate it. Half the characters in Automata are just bi/lesbian disasters and it dabbles in some real gender fuckery.

The original Nier has one of the best written intersex characters I've ever seen and it literally FORCES you to read her backstory and how she was discriminated against because of it.

When I see people discussing the PS2 Ratchet and Clank games, most of the time it feels like they either ignore Deadlocked or straight up act as if it doesn't exist.

I'm currently playing all the R&C PS2 games for a You tube video, and I'm halfway through Deadlocked. While it does feel like a spin-off with Clank not being present during gameplay or the title, the story and humor feeling like background elements, I honestly think this is the most polished shooting gameplay of R&C on PS2 has ever felt (and the platforming element being pretty much non-existent).

I think Deadlocked is an Ok entry. Best gunplay of the ps2 era and the mod system is the best in the series. The writing is pretty neck and neck with the first 3 as well. But, it's a pretty drab game, the environments being mostly drab and barren makes sense in the universe of Deadlocked, but it doesn't make the mostly green and brown levels much more interesting.

In fact, it may be the only modern game genre where i can safely say the gender split is roughly half and half with games like Selaco, Ion Fury, Forgive me Father, Hedon, Nightmare Reaper, Project Warlock 1 and 2, Rise Of The Triad, Supplice, Zortch, Ghostware, Beyond Sunset, Viscerafest, The Citadel, Sprawl

There are genuinely so many boomer shooter female protagonist and you know what, and i say this with full confidence as i am very active within boomer shooter communities and follow boomer shooter youtubers like Civvie11 and GmanLives: NOBODY CARES.

Which is a hilarious fact in and of itself since the boomer shooter genre, more than any other videogame genre is DOMINATED by a male audience. And yet they do not care.

Selaco is one of the most beloved and best selling games of that entire genre and it stars a female protagonist that kicks all sorts of ass. And yet not a single outcry of "muh woke" from the community,

don't know if it's cos the boomer shooter genre has mostly grown and prospered in the indie scene so there's less toxicity there or the fact that the devs of these games themselves are openly progressive or if the fanbase of these games is just naturally older therefore they don't have the time nor patience to engage in culture wars but whatever it is, it's a nice thing to see

is a pretty solid Horror game from the Demo I played but, it commits ONE fatal flaw that a lot of games do have
