It’s the same in the North though. The divide is rural vs metropolitan.

Northerners just assume everyone in the South are ignorant conservatives. There’s no such thing as a red or blue state, it’s all shades of purple.

I live in a walkable neighborhood in Richmond, Virginia. I have grocery stores in walking distance but usually drive to nicer ones for big hauls. I drive to the gym. I could bike there but there’s no bike lanes and steep hills. Everything else on your list is just a few blocks away.

I do a little Qi Gong routine in the morning. It’s very pleasant and I don’t need a yoga mat.

Yeah it bothers me when liberals push the “we need immigrants so they can be exploited” narrative. Really owning the republicans with that one… We should let them in simply because it’s the right thing to do, given in many cases we destabilized their home countries.
