There’s a fight here now thanks to you. I just want you to know though, I’m on your side… blastoise > hermesturtle

The $30 in fees don’t seem unreasonable when you think about it.
A chunk is taxes and well, they’d have been there anyway so I’m not counting them.
A chunk is tip, which was voluntary so I’m not including it.
That leaves about $15 for a delivery fee, in New York. Not sure what the driver makes but a portion of that $15 is going to them.
The real question is about how this person values their opportunity cost, because they actively decided that the time they would save was worth paying the extra delivery fees and tip. They made that decision and THEN complained about the injustice of…. Their own behavior and choices?
$92 assuming they’re being honest about it being New York and it’s for food delivery. Since their tax rate is 8.75% for prepared food.
They forgot Alaska and Hawaii
I have tried to see them so many times but have never even gotten an inkling.
I just take a piece of aluminum foil and press it into the sink drain so it makes a little cup. Then pour the oil into that foil. Then drop an ice cube in to help it solidify and cool a bit then I grab the foil corners and twist them up and dump it in the trash.
It’s quick and easy and neat.
This discontent does not appear to be translating into strong support for Democrats. The Quantus poll suggests that young voters are feeling politically homeless, with 43 percent of Gen Z voters saying that neither party represents American values.
Welcome to the “party”…
Not sure but I pulled a box truck out of a ditch yesterday with my lightning and it DEF had the torque to pull that thing. Not pictured, the trailer I had to unhook that was behind said box truck.
I tow with mine all the time, admittedly not at significant long haul distances, usually around 10-30 miles. It has never been super rough on battery when towing either.
Really looks like a slightly abstract goatse reference.
Honestly I love language and languages in general, so I rarely need an excuse to go study one haha.
That said, Mandarin Chinese was attractive to me for a few reasons.
Firstly, a LOT of people in this world speak it, so it has high utility potential and may even come in handy for me professionally.
Secondly, I think the culture and history of China is interesting and that my default lens for it is likely heavily biased. I’ve always found that reading source material and opposing positions or narratives has helped me understand the truth of a matter with more (albeit still imperfect) clarity.
I’m about a month into learning Mandarin Chinese. I expected the character set to be the challenge but really it has been the inflection and intonation that I’ve had the hardest time with so far.
Yeah my cat is $50/mo….
