Yeah I'm cancelling streaming services myself, felt completely robbed by paying 3 or 4 of them and still rarely something worth watching.
I have only amazon and HBO left now. Amazon mostly because of free express delivery of items.
It says the developers are self funded but they are working all day on Lemmy it seems. So they are unemployed and working on Lemmy?
It will be interesting to see how it plays out. Specially if the largest instance lemmy.world decides to federate and invite them everywhere.
Im not naive and I understand meta will try their best to take over the fediverse and brand it as something they came up with. But tech people should be smart and at least try and protect against that imo.

I liked sim ant too. Also it's amazing that the brain remembers those games still, it's been like over 30 years... But they made a super strong impression at that age.
