So, I've been posting fairly regularly on here, and I'd just like to ask for some views/comments/feedback on the Community....

• Do you want to see more detailed stuff- spotlight on a particular photographer, info plus their photos?

• What do you think of the mega posts? Are they too long/boring/difficult to view on mobile etc?

• Are you happy with the content?

• Any suggestions/ideas etc

Please be mindful that I do this in my own time and it can be (sometimes) laborious putting things together, also can you keep any criticism constructive

Don't be shy, I appreciate your input in keeping this going, and any ideas for different types of posts

My favourite piece of London's architecture, well modern at least, The Gherkin at St Mary Axe, in the heart of the self acclaimed Insurance district of the City of London.

.....Hidden away at Lorrimore Square in South London is St Paul's Church, which I came across during September's Open House weekend. The church is a small but remarkable Grade II-listed building built in the late 1950s after the original church burned down during the second world war. Replacing the original 19th-century Victorian Gothic style is an innovative post-war design by John Wimbleton of architect practice Woodroffe, Buchanan & Coulter, built from a mixture of brick, copper and rubble stone from the old church.....

Each of the mullions on the building has a strip of neon lighting that changes colour in coordination with the others. I tried to get all three colours at their best.

A bit of context....

I saw [3] while scrolling through flickr, and thought it looked like the scene in Alien when they explore the crashed ship and see the Space Jockeys....

I then got thinking about the rest of the film and whether there are other photos that have the 'Alien' aesthetic, and could they recall some of the key scenes and overall claustrophobia?

I've no idea if I've succeeded or not, but hopefully you'll enjoy the montage
