Hello, I am working on my first PC build, but I am not quite sure if everything will fit. Can you help me and tell me if everything will work together? My biggest concern is the motherboard and CPU compatibility. I only ordered the GPU yet, so if there are suggestions for changes they are more than welcome.

I honestly thought that the Lian Li O11D mini would be fine for my purposes.

However, the last few days have shown that I simply move around with my system far too much.

Battery operation is not an issue, so slightly more portable SFF system just looks like it will be more practical than even a small midi-tower/micro-ATX tower.

The NR200 would be my go-to solution for the the components that I already have. Here is the build on part picker:

Is there any value in going for a smaller SFF case like the Lian Li Q58, etc. if I want to retain decent thermals and quiet performance?

Just sharing (please forgive my bad english):

so this was all because Fifa 23 didn't run properly on my setup

just a simple Ryzen 2600 + B450 mini itx + 16gb RAM and an old RX6500xt, in a NZXT H210 and ML240L AIO

so I impulsively buy a Colourful RTX 3060Ti white (triple fan) without even thinking, and once it arrived I just realize there's no way it gonna fit on my case with the AIO

so just sitting there wondering what to do, I decided to do the stupid, I remove the AIO from the front panel and install them on the top WITHOUT the fans, and put the fans on the front panel behind the cover

I know it sounds suicidal, but I can't help to test it for gaming (with the case cover open) and it turns out not bad actually LOL

I played Fifa 23 for 30 minutes or so and then did some dungeon crawling in Diablo Immortal for 45-60 minutes, the CPU temp is stable around 55-60'C, the only thing I notice is there's a lot more noise coming from the radiator, like slow grumbling water noise, but when I touch it the temp is pretty much normal, maybe it's because it is placed on the top rather than sideway?

of course this was all done with the side cover open and I was playing during the night (room temp around 25'C) AND for my sanity sake i put a room fan blowing towards the pc case

I know this was pretty much stupid but it turns out possible to run AIO without fans tehehe

I'm still considering what to do with the whole cooling situation here, probably have to go back to air cooling for the CPU (dont really want to, really love the AIO look) but until then probably just gonna run it like this as long as keep checking the temp

any suggestion on running a triple fan gpu in H210 with AIO setup?

i can get either cpu from amazon for a $5 price difference, which should i go for? seems like the i5 has slightly better performance but also less power efficient and higher tdp so maybe runs hotter. will thermals be more of an issue with the i5 in a small build?

will be paired with an rx 6700xt -- havent decided on a case yet but definitely be 10-15L and likely have a 55mm cpu cooler and a couple extra case fans

Hi all, I installed the l9a a while back and it made me replace the backplate with their own, but now I can't find it anymore. Is there a way to find a replacement backplate (I tried looking but couldn't find any) and if I didn't replace the backplate, would the Fuma 3 still work with it?

Hey there, hope you are doing well.

I´d really appreciate if you guys could offer me some guidance.

TL;DR

• Will 750 platinum PSU be able to sustain an i7-13700k paired with a RTX 4080 (Overclocked)
• Is the i5-13600k good enough to last me for some good years at peak performance?
• Will all this be too hot in an SFX Build?

Little note before, I live in Colombia, so everything I buy in USD is about 4x the price for me (I still can and tend to make an effort since this is my passion, but still).

Short story, three years ago I decided to finally upgrade my pc, last time was in 2014, I had been rocking an MSI 1070 and an intel i7-7700k for about six years now. Great build that carried me all too well through the new games, still works pretty good.

Anyways, back then I started looking into SFX because I tend to move my pc when I go to different places and carrying a huge tower is quite the hassle, so I thought it´d be nice to try small form factor (play interstellar meme trying to stop myself). Did some research decided on a case that looked good and did not absolutely break the bank (NR200p) and got my hands on a corsair 750w patinum power supply. Well both of those components have been sitting on my closet since then. That curious thing happend and the world changed and prices changed... Anyways, recently I bought an RTX 4080 after 3 years craving to upgrade. So my rig carried me for a total of nine years almost ten. Anyhow, thing is now I want to buy what remains for me to transition into the SFX and here is the deal.

I would love to not have to change the PSU, but im worried I might be too greedy with what I want. I work with video editing, music and photo, also game a ton, even thinking on streaming and such, therefore I really feel like I need a beast of a computer, but am worried on two accounts

1. Will the PSU be able to manage either a i7-13700k or i5-13600k (even maybe with a lil overclock).
2. Am i effectively creating a nuclear heat reactor with this specs.

So in essence what I want to know is if I can actually get an i7-13700k with my rig and have some room to overclock or is it TOO greedy? Maybe I should just stick to the i5-13600k? Im worried that the difference between i7 and i5 is too big.

I got bored this weekend and after a lot of lurking decided to get a Meshroom S to shrink my desktop. Coming from a prebuilt from Microcenter (Powerspec G466) and keeping at least some of the parts (for now). Need CPU cooler recommendations. Tried the Lian Li GA II 240 AIO and the helpful rotation on the tubes means they can't bend to get over (or under) the Motherboard bracket. Also tried the Galahad I 240 AIO and didn't like the amount of tension on the tubes there either. So thinking about shifting to aircooled for the CPU instead.

Motherboard: ASRock Z490 PG Velocita ATX

CPU: i9-10900k

GPU: Zotac RTX2080 Super, so the case is in 3slot config

PSU: Lian Li 750SFX

Ram: 32gb G.skill ripjaws 3200mhz (35-42mm clearance needed depending on which part of the chip)

Storage: a couple of m.2 drives mounted on the motherboard.

Options for Coolers: NH-L9i, NH-L12S (may not clear the ram?), AXP90-X47, anthing else I should be looking at?

(and yes the simplest solution in one sense would be to go to an ITX motherboard and front mount a 280, but I'm saving that for when I'm ready to upgrade the CPU)

So the Gigabyte Low Profile 4060 8GB is a one... odd card. Granted it is a half height card and it has more fans, it is audibly quieter with a tri-fan, coming from an single fan A2000. It's mostly the pitch that changed when I went with this card and put it in the system. It gets real hot on an auto curve, stock tunes. I've seen 88C max. It performs quite better than the A2000 6GB, and well, fitment in the Stratos X I have it in is literally press fit, so my Stratos X is bulging a bit. Not the end of the world though.

I can try and hope a guide for undervolting is available for the LP 4060, try it myself and see how improvements are handled with the card, or I can just forget that technical detail and swap the cooler out for a pair of 80x25's in my Stratos case. At its price... well, it's not bad, but it's niche. You are limited to cases that can just barely fit the card, though people including myself have proven manufacturers wrong. J-Hack said it couldn't be done, a few people, myself included, have crammed a 4060LP into the Stratos X and the Pure Mk.II(the latter which is a tighter fit).

Air cooler version. Looking to stay under $700 if possible. Looks like a lot of the gpu like 4070 from asus, zotac etc on amazon are around that 2” width, which is not making it into the chassis.

So i have a asus rog ally and xg mobile rtx 3080 but the screen is just too small to enjoy games , i can have a full setup because i have very limited space but i just got into streaming and love it so then i figured id get a top of the line gaming laptop but no upgradeability sucks for the lo g run and desktops still way out preform laptops so then i started looking at sff pc's i did see someone put a rtx 4090 into a ghost sentry 2.0 and that paired with a portable monitor seems liek the best option but theres a problem i dont know how to build pcs but i do have whatever funds i need so what should i do any suggestions?.

Hi. This is my first PC build I have a GPU (RTX 4070, MSI Ventus 3x) that has 8 female pins for power supply. My PSU (Corsair SF750) has 2 of PCIe cables, both 8 pin to 2x(6+2) pin cables.

There is also a spare 8 pin to 8 pin CPU cable.

So do i need some 16 to 8 adapter or can I leave half of them unplugged without consequence?
