Might be wishful thinking, but I’m hoping someone can point me to an app that will run on a Google TV that’s essentially TV and movie catalog. I don’t want it to stream anything, I just want something my wife and I can browse through the way we browse through streaming apps looking for something to watch - which I could then go sailing for.

Ideally, this would have sections for TV and movies, genre tags, searchability, etc, and would have metadata (summary, cast, number of episodes, etc) on basically the entire history of TV and movies. If no such thing exists on google’s platform I’m definitely open to similar webapps or mobile apps. Does anything like this exist?

Please remove if it doesn't comply with the rules. I recently discovered that some shows I was watching have been removed from the app, so I was wondering if there's an app similar to it when it comes to downloading?

it's a niche thing, but seems to give tons of money. many scans have subscription for stuff like: no ads and early access to new translated chapters. and, if you look at their discord server, many people have their "premium" role, which means their plan was a success.

they also pay alot of money for korean translators, raw providers etc

My cable tv provider has a website to access tv over the internet, but I can only log in to it from 5 devices. The problem is that I have a more than 5 devices. Is there any way to trick the website to think that a browser on another system/or the same system on a different os is the same browser?

I don’t understand torrents at the moment and when I was looking at a subreddit earlier it was a bunch of apps and VPNs you have to pay money for, alternately I could just buy the $2 pass for 2 day, find some games I want, and do it quick.

let me explain myself a litle better, let's say we have a site that uses a connection with a patreon account to give you acces to content based on your patreon level, is there any way yo bypass this autentication and get access to the content behind the paywall?

I opened the website through Opera like always, pasted a song link from Tidal and downloaded it, it was able to download and then immediately after it changed to a gray site, refreshed itself and said this website is not available. It can't be my ISP because I used it on my phone through my data plan and then tried it on my laptop with my regular internet and it did the same thing...

downloaded adobe acrobat from monkrus official website, the tracker was file-tracker.net.

ran the setup inside acrobat folder and just when the installation was about to finish, multiple files just ran and closed within second, i have no idea what are they, but yes they weren't cmd.

ust to be safe i first checked up the setup file, which was clean but then i thought of checking on the crack.exe file in the same folder and this was the result.

should i be worried? i am not adding links but i can tell you they are correct domain. the w16.monkrus domain

LCP / LCPL is a DRM for books. Previously, the developer of DeDRM (a Calibre plugin) had a way of breaking it on his GitHub, but that was scrubbed after the developer came after him. I did some searching last night and couldn't find anything to remove it, other than possibly epubor (a paid subscription).

I'm trying to direct download a movie from psa but it's in multiple parts. I'm fine with downloading each part individually until I learn how to torrent. My question is, how do I put the parts together after downloading so that it plays as one seamless movie?

I'm argentinian. I don’t understand how we didn’t realize that this has always been the way things go. Google, OneDrive, and other services used to offer free storage for our stuff ten years ago, and once it became widespread, they started with subscription plans and all that. We had cable TV, then for a minimal cost, we got a platform for on-demand content. Then there were two, three, and now we have to pay for Disney+’s most expensive package just to watch a fútbol match.

When I had a good job, I was paying for Disney, Star, Paramount, HBO, Prime, Spotify, YouTube...

Now I can't afford all that, and honestly, I don't think the content I consume is enough to justify paying so much for all of it. I just want to watch The Simpsons (in latino) on my Smart TV without any hassle, and I can't find them on Stremio. Every time I search for the MAGIS TV app, there are ten different sites, all with sketchy apps full of viruses.

Everything’s a mess, hahaha.

Anyone else find that nearly all modern media isn't even worth pirating?

Shows written by AI, corporate slop and crappy shows canceled after a season. Why even bother downloading it, run the name through Filebot, add it to Plex and watch it.

Most of the garbage they put out isn't worth free.

Hi All, recently installed and setup a ugreen NAS at home. I’ve been using protonvpn and qbittorrent to download files to my Mac, then transfer them to my NAS, since I added it to my network.

If I make the NAS the default storage in qtorrent, would the files still be downloaded via the vpn on my Mac and just stored it n the NAS or are they going directly to the NAS and bypassing the VPN?

I would like to cutout the step of transferring the files to the NAS once downloaded.

Whenever I try to stream a movie or show especially if it's part of a series it will play the wrong movie or episode, sometimes from a completely different season. I've tried multiple streaming sites and the only thing I've found to work is to just go through the shared links until one plays the right movie or just suck it up and not watch. Any help or experience with this issue?

I'm trying to decide between the Pocketbook Era Color and the Boox Go Color 7.

But I'm having trouble finding out how one would side load onto these devices. Is it as simple as plugging in the device to my PC and using calibre to send to device?

I believe that's the primary way Kobo users side load. I know Kindle users send to their email. But I'm not interested in those devices.

So I'm hoping some Boox and Pocketbook users would be able to chime in!
