I know we have plenty of options these days for downloading music and accessing some leaks. But gosh, the KL guys were extremely fast.

I've never heard of another site that leaked singles two days before, or even albums a week before the official release.

I'm feeling nostalgic... Did anyone by chance manage to get into Discord? Do people chat there or is nothing happening? 😅

I have checked the wiki and some recommendations but, while everything works perfectly, the quality of the digitalization/editing of the ebooks seem to vary terribly.

I was wondering if there was any high quality website/editing group I should look for.

For example, in the Spanish speaking community we have "epublibre", which is both a website and a community. They have edited tens of thousands of novels under a common, and very high quality, framework. So you know if you download an epub from them it is going to be top notch.

Now that I am trying to read more in English I would appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.

I think this would be a perfect example of why containers are good, but just checking. All my media is on a NAS on the network - so Plex (and/or Jellyfin) don't have the media in their containers, although there are mounts for the NAS in each container. Just confirming my thought that I can "test out" Jellyfin in a new container without having to change anything in the rest of my stack, or worry about it messing other programs up. Am I right?

My last version of modded spotify started to freak out and crash, so I updated to the new modded one recently.

The app doesn't crash but all my Playlists are empty. I try to add a song to a Playlist and nothing gets added. It's like all songs are gone essentially, any idea how to fix?

I cleared the cache but no luck.

So I'm trying to download this older anime but the file sizes are super big and its only at 480p, like a 20 min episode is like 3 gb so I'm thinking its probably because of the 4 different dubs for audio tracks it has, if that's why how can i get rid of them? Because that is just needlessly big.

Hypothetically speaking, anyone know how to record HDCP protected streams on PC? There is a website streaming concerts (Beyond Live). Disabling hardware acceleration in browser used to work but now they mandate viewers to watch the streams with Microsoft Edge and HW Acceleration enabled, otherwise the stream won't play. Now OBS shows a black screen at the video portion.

how does one sail the high seas with my kind of ISP

1. VPNs are banned by contract, they will suspend my account if i use one (also overall restricted on a legal level, can't be used to bypass geoblocking or prevent tracking)
2. laws require they track everything i do and retain that data for at least 2 years
3. generally shitty service (our infrastructure is monopolised and outdated)
4. undisclosed list of sites that'll warrant automatically disconnecting my service

So yeah its .mkv, it has 4 different audio tracks that are lossless but thats not even the main problem, I removed those and the subtitles and it was still like 2.4 gb so what is causing it to be that high? any ideas would be appreciated, this thing has like 170 episodes and each one is 3gb so its kinda a lot, and I need this specific one because its in the spanish dub and I couldnt find another one of this quality.

edit: i just checked and its overall bitrate is 15.1 mbps, is that high?

I can’t watch movies at all, like they load forever. I use to be able to watch movies like 3 weeks ago but now they don’t work. It only affected my iPad since I can use it on my computer and my sister’s iPad but not mine for some reason. I don’t know what’s the problem. Were all using the same home wifi. as the title says. i was downloading a show called reacher. and i did not notice the .lnk at the end until i clicked it.

i didnt know about that type of exploit until it was to late. i did some research on it, but there isnt a lot of "what to do next" i ran malwarebytes and windows defender. but guessing because windows defender didnt automatically destroy it. that the is some type of script to it. either way im screwed. is this where i back up my important files and restore windows?

I've been using onthespot for spotify for the past week, love it. So easy. But after my spotify account got temporily banned (yeah i know use a burner, im making a burner now), I switched to downloading from Deezer but most of the downloads end up saying "unavailable". The songs can be played on the site, theyre not actuallty unavible to me but OnTheSpot just reads "unavailable". Trying Deezloader Remix: crazy slow. Any reccommendations?

I see lots of good info in the megathread and some suggested sites to use. I saw nmac.to on the list and downloaded an app that wanted to disable gateway and opened up a terminal message. VirusTotal and malwarebytes didn't show anything but how safe are these sites in the megathread? What's the vetting process for making the list?

The most recent Spotify APK that xManager lists for me is v9.0.24.601 and every time I try to install and use the APK, I find the app is not cracked. No songs in playlists and my liked songs only play 10 second snippets with no ability to choose songs, hallmarks of the free version.

All of a sudden i get 403 errors when searching for an album or track, no matter id i use vpn or not (i am from germany). Doenst make a difference if i use us or eu. Anyone else got the same problem?
