Ive been searching for a VPN to torrent on and to use for other things as well. I’ve red that mullvad is good, but it’s price is more expensive than Proton VPN for 2 years plan and it also doesn’t support port forwarding anymore apparently. Many people say that it is great of you use all of the Proton services, however I am really only interested in the VPN part. Is Proton worth getting (currently at about 90€ for 2 years) or is there another good all around VPN that’s worth looking into.

Hey guys,

Installed Adobe Acrobat Pro from monkrus' w16-site. Used the ru tracker.

About a minute after I opened the file and ran the ISO my CPU, GPU, memory and data transfer was maxed out.

Used Malwarebyte and it caught a couple trojan coinminers and PUPs and all that. Quarantined and deleted the files.

Used about five other antivirus programs to scan, even did a rootdrive scan, but nothing more showed up. System still maxed out though. Did a recovery point reset but something is still here.

RIP? Change all passwords everywhere and total wipe, or what do you recommend?

A lot of foreign movies and tv shows are only available in their original language. Even for those that include English subtitles are typically subtitled for the entire runtime including the English spoken parts which I don’t need and find distracting, and even worse sometimes are only available in SDH (Hearing Impaired).

Obviously trying to source a release with forced subtitles or dubbed audio is my first option, or downloading forced subtitles separately but they aren’t always available.

Is there any AI application that can specifically create Forced English subtitles (Foreign Parts Only) or English Dubbed Audio for Foreign Movies & TV Shows?

No idea where else to ask this, so I'll throw it here.

I've noticed when I look up movies, that a lot of them now can exceed 50GB, especially for 2K / 4K.

But what I don't get, is that I'm seeing this with movies from 2001. Why is a movie from 2001, 40GB. Was AI used to re-size the video? And how effective even is that, because I've seen a few "enhanced" videos, and they look like someone used a Photoshop filter on them, not good at all.

Is their any benefit to getting those larger files vs smaller?

Just to re-affirm, I'm referring more to older movies. Obviously new movies come in much higher detail.

It says the resolution on it is 3840 x 2160. But again, this is a movie from 2001, so how beneficial is that much of a resize. Because it seems like at that resize, it would start to really distort the frames.

Yet I notice the frames are 23.976 fps, which to me seems like that is where you'd want to improve. But then again, I'm not sure what technology is available for movies, and to increase frames, you'd have to add frames to keep the movie at the same length / normal speed.
