So I recently updated revanced but the shorts don't always play. They will say video not available and then scrolling to the next one only shows a fragment of the bottom half of the next short. Also I can't play clips from videos. It just starts playing the whole video instead of the segment I clipped. Tried repacking and doesn't fix it.

I listen to music on revanced while I'm on my walk, since last night, the music kept stopping after two songs. Anyone has experienced this too and has a fix? The last time I updated my patch was when YouTube videos stopped playing after 30secs in.

Hello, first wanted to express my gratitude for the people who put their time in this project and saved us from the dark times that would follow after revanced extended support stopped and videos stopped playing. I've been on revanced for over a month and it's been going flawlessly!

One question I have is, at some point I saw somewhere being said that stopping the official YouTube app from being updated can help prevent possible future buffering issues that might appear. How valid is that? Because ive turned off automatic updates ever since I heard that so I update everything (except YouTube) manually. If it's not valid i would happily go back to automatic because this manual updating can be a chore.

Not sure if there is an existing setting somewhere to change this behaviour, but it always really annoys me that when I say pause a video and lock my phone to do something else, when I return and unlock my phone the video is initially in full screen before immediately exiting it, meaning I have to switch to full screen again myself.

Anyone else annoyed by this or know if or how it can be fixed?

When listening to audio, revanced suddenly stops playing and go to buffer until i unlock my phone. Once i unlock it the audio keeps playing like nothing happened. The issue only occurs while I am at work or at home, never in the car. This may or may not be a revanced issue. This also happened with my YouTube vanced in the past. I'm not sure where else to post this. To start, I own a galaxy s20. I do not have power saving or data saving options enabled. I've turned my video quality for all videos to the lowest resolution.

I just left revanced last month and i paid for the YouTube premium subscription, because you can also get their YT music premium at the same time, which for me is a big save considering yt music offers more music choices where some songs can only be found on YouTube platform plus i can also download the songs saving me tons of data. The problem is I still have this habit of swiping up from the sides for volume and brightness lmao, since i used to watch on yt revanced for like 3 years, i just love the people behind this app they listen to the pull request features, thank you for all the people who contributed to the development of revanced/vanced and their supporters/donators. Y'all saved a broken ass student from annoying ads😔, which i deeply appreciate. Again, thank you, stay healthy and safe😎, and imma peace out✌️

This is a bug which I have been struggling with for the fast few hours or so.

I do not have a rooted phone (screwyousamsung), I am using the latest versions of everything.

Every time I switch app, or even just unfocus, it completely resets.

This is a problem, because every time I try to do any external auth inside of microG, it just resets.

I am on android 13 for reference, I've had an issue for about a month where my phones battery usage is showing revanced running for about 6 hours when I'm only using it for about 1 hour. I close the app when I'm done as well so it shouldn't be doing this. I tried different versions but still have this issue, does anyone have any suggestions that can help me? thank you.

I originally patched when the Api stuff came out and I don't think I had an issue at first, but I do know I get an error when I try to upload an image now at least.

I'm running in to issues after patching aforementioned version of YouTube. Videos will play fin, but they will automatically pause after every minute. It's not buffering, it's simply pausing, forcing me to press play every time.

Anybody else experiencing this? Fixes?

Hello!

Been using YouTube ReVanced since the start and loving it. Usually, when I run into some issues they turn out to be common and this place has solutions. Not this time, however.

I use autoplay, always been (I listen to music). Since recently, after a song or two it jumps to some random YouTube mix. I have mixes disabled, they do not show on front/in search results/suggested videos. Yet they jam themselves into my autoplay.

Tired of random songs playing, is there anything I can do about it?

Hi all!

If you're following a guide on how to patch an app using ReVanced and you get a "No patches found for the selected app" error, reboot your phone. That fixed it for me. None of the threads I found when googling mentioned that, so I thought I'd put this PSA out.

Recently YT started messing with their mobile web app, so in firefox videos stutter / replay large portions of the video over and over. It's clearly an intended bug for people who use ublock origin on mobile, so it was time to look into ReVanced. I'd used YT Vanced previously, and I'd heard about ReVanced, so I followed a guide and.. yep, that issue showed up. It might have something to do with the fact that I updated microG using the Vanced Manager just before installing ReVanced. Or it might be something else. I don't know, I'm not an Android expert. But it worked.

Big thanks to the ReVanced team for making the patcher - you guys are the best.
