While decorating my guild hall I noticed that there are key things missing, like ivy. Most plants are very small even if scaled up and have ugly pots. There are only like 15 different trees if you also count all the festival ones. Stone materials have little variants, usually only having a pillar and a wall for each material type.

Just by running through a single 10 year old map I'm noticing hundreds of already made assets that would fit perfectly for decorations. Ironically, the assets that the guild halls use themselves would also work well of course to create something that matches.

Now that we can morph decorations and there is a casual friendly homestead, why not finally make some bonus events that focus on the assets of each map? Imagine every week we would visit one map, complete objectives there and through that unlock decoration recipes and materials for the recipes.

Asset flipping done right!

Made a post a few days ago about gearing healers and how it was torture. Well I was wrong, I had gotten some bad info from an old reddit thread and didn't know where to look for the correct info. Just had to use LW season 3 and 4 to get trinkets and the dungeons literally took 20 minutes. I took the post down as not to scare away new players about the Gearing in the game. Don't be afraid you can do it! and if you can't, ask for help!

So, I'm pretty close to full PvP legendary armor, so I've been playing around in there quite a bit lately. I'm normally a Guardian main, and that class is also insane right now with WB. However, I decided to check out the bunny thumper build for Ranger and I've been gobsmacked by how ridiculous this class is. The sheer amount of CC, survivability, and even raw damage on top of that is just crazy.

I think the devs just REALLY wanted bunny thumper to be a thing again, so after hammer wasn't enough to get people doing it, they added the double mace build and just juiced the fuck out of them, lol. I can't believe this isn't being played more often. I'm in love with it.

Wish I snagged a Video but my shadowplay was turned off when I checked at the end. Just needed enough burst and time at 66/33 to kill adds and let the next ones tether. I also used catas natural strong solo strength with Zakiros and water trait for sustain. Along with sigil of cleansing for dealing with condis. I ported to the island the second 33 phase started you can know which island is yours because whenever you get a tether it’s the same island every time. This also let me just stand on the island and drop aoes and damage to burst the adds as they spawned.

Also speedy is there as my alt to open the encounter because you need 2 people on the event ring to begin the cm.

Hey! I'm a new player to the game, and I'm not sure if developers read Reddit posts, but I just wanted to share how great the exploration aspect of this game is!

Generally, I play a large variety of genres of games, but recently I've been quite nostalgic about the Skyrim-like exploration experience. I know that MMORPGs have large worlds to discover, but one issue that I often come across in them is the fact that some areas are inaccessible until you've reached a certain level. Either it's hard-coded, or you simply get overpowered by the aggressive NPCs in the area. I've tried WoW classic, and while I did enjoy exploring the world, I got discouraged rather quickly because I didn't want to waste time leveling my character (mainly cuz I didn't enjoy the combat in WoW either).

So I've decided to try Guild Wars 2 instead, and I'll admit that this has been the exact sort of experience that I've been looking for! I could roam around essentially without any restrictions, the quests/random events are actually fun (???) especially when some random players happen to be in the area as well. The fact that a lot of the NPCs are voice acted also adds to the immersion. And I would honestly argue that Guild Wars 2 ended up offering me a much richer exploration experience than for example any Elder Scrolls game, due to how well-polished the other systems are (the smooth combat is perhaps the most obvious example :p). Additionally, the mount system is amazing! I saw some mounts in WoW, when I was trying it out, and I certainly envied the players that had them, but I think the GW2 mounts outshine WoW mounts, not only due to their accessibility, but also how unique each mount is in its functionality.

Eitherway, this has been an amazing experience, and I'm looking forward to exploring the different expansions during the winter holidays. I wish the devs a lot of success and hope they continue to add to this fantastic world for many years to come! Keep up the great work!

Why do Poky and Stoic Alder overreact with shock and betrayal when Fading Aurora's secret identity is revealed? It seems like finding out someone you know was a superhero would be a mundane occurrence in Tyria... Also I could just not relate to Isgarren and the Ward's claim that she is a dangerous fugitive, they just came off as paranoid and controlling. Am I missing something?
