What have Google developed inhouse that’s good since Gmail?

Android and YouTube were both acquisitions.

Much heavier than petrol cars if they’re not on a bespoke EV platform or designed poorly. Slightly heavier than petrol cars if they’re designed properly.

Eg a Model 3 and a Toyota Camry are the same weight and almost identical dimensions.

It’s weird to me the weight thing keeps coming up when discussing EVs but not the petrol cars which have been growing bigger and heavier for years.

I started off with immense respect for Tesla succeeding in delivering a mainstream electric car, and SpaceX delivering on successful commercial space flight. Finally, I thought. A rich billionaire who might actually be doing good.

Then the paedo cave thing happened. Ok. Guy can’t take criticism. That comment as uncalled for.

Now? Holy shit. The guy is a full on racist, anti trans, misogynist, white supremacist, conspiracy peddling whack a doodle.

Stupid decisions like paying $200 million for Joe Rogan’s shitty podcast certainly don’t help

Other than “this should never have happened” I see this as the best possible outcome.

Now we wait and see I suppose.

It’s 2009, 2014, 2017 and 2020 all over again.

They keep promising great new battery tech just around the corner and never delivering.

If I was a cynic, I might think they’re simply doing it to put people off buying current EVs so they’re not saddled with ‘old tech’.

While you wait for our amazing new battery, pick yourself up a great new hybrid..
