This man is chasing the high of affection because he hasn't experienced any other form of proper intimacy. He was courting libs when they were hyped about his cars and rockets, he's trapped in last decade's dank memes because PewDiePie had him on a dank meme review segment that got him more attention than The Big Bang Theory and Iron Man ever did.
He will never be happy but he'll be damned if he won't spend the rest of his life trying.
I know it's easy for me to say, but both of these types have such amazing lives that they really are their own worst enemies: Elon Musk and JK Rowling.
Sure, WE may still dunk on Elon Musk for being king of the redditors, but with capitalist programming he could buy his way into the history books as the hero of the climate crisis who stepped up and saved the day. He made environmentalism cool for a little bit and would have served as a huge inspiration for the next generation of scientists, doctors, and engineers while guest appearing in numerous Marvel movies and other sci-fi projects. All he had to do was shut the fuck up a little bit.
JK Rowling may have written slop for the lowest common denominator, but Harry Potter was at least a pop culture sensation in its own right like a next-generation star wars. Again, all she had to do was shut the fuck up a little bit.

Nah elon never gave a shit about environmentalism, only so much as he could exploit others and profit off of it. Also LIFePo batteries have a serious bottleneck problem and we would beed to increase production by at least 1000% to meet the demands of the automotive market nevermind other growing industries dependent upon lithium mining.
Also how is filling massive phalic shaped starships with rocket fuel and exploding multiples in our atmosphere show he ever gave an effff about environmentalism?

They are talking entirely about aesthetics, Elon Musk could definitely have remained a liberal media darling and "real life Iron Man" to all the reddit nerds if he just kept his mouth shut and presented the public image of being the man behind Tesla and SpaceX.
No-one here thinks he ever gave a shit about environmentalism or sustainability beyond using them to grift billions in government subsidies.
