Hey I used to do this job !!!

It is hard, it’s a industry with almost no fault tolerance in the process of stripping itself down to be run by less and less people.

I was able to use the experience to transfer to other fields requiring constant uptime and content delivery without being as much of a pressure cooker.

If you’ve been there for a few years already I would start looking at building all the very in-demand skills involved in near-instantaneous content delivery + data tracking into your resume or begin to specialize in one of the “cookie replacement” technologies that are worth 400 trillion dollars.

Especially in the current job market of “no one wants to train juniors” these are invaluable. Your job might even offer courses / cover training in whatever you are missing.

For your own mental wellbeing being able to focus on something related to but not the job itself might help? Sorry I know it’s hard being the breadwinner making slacking off / “quiet quitting” a risk. Best of luck and hope your situation improves.

The join code would be posted on hexbear and everyone was encouraged to obscure their identity as much as reasonably possible when joining.

This is kind of what the webfishing meetup was working as before and I’d be happy to keep that going while ReadFanon is taking a break. It can be other games as well.

Im going through a very heavy period of burnout myself so I’m not super down to organise something big but I’d be happy to copy the format and rules and put the server up at the right time.

My three go to easy tofu recipes:

Mapo tofu

Matar “paneer”

Tofu scramble (can also become imitation scrambled eggs)

I do them all vegan. You’ll find plenty of recipes for each one and I can also share my own.

Can’t believe I’ve been practicing for interviews by ensuring I can demonstrate my knowledge of the subject material and am capable of meeting the requirements of the role instead of focusing on maintaining eye contact and improving my posture

I’ve only ever played the game on a sober run, Harry seemed to spend most of the game suffering from the cumulative hangover of five back to back benders and I couldn’t imagine wanting to make that worse .

ending infoThe cops in the end seemed genuinely surprised and had to break through their disbelief that Harry could actually be sober for a whole week.

Not mentioned - Getting a medical diagnosis can be a multi-year process where you will be passed around different departments and waitlists with no guarantee of getting what you need at the end.

Even when self-diagnosed or your condition is clearly apparent to other people, it doesn't help. It reminds me of when my boss told me I was autistic at an old workplace where I was constantly in a cycle of being told I had huge potential for the role but was underperforming.
