I made fun of Schumer just a couple days ago for being a super ghoul only laser-focused on elections while ignoring the human cost. But - holy mother of fuck - is he a super ghoul.

“There’s going to be some powerful ads,” said Senator Chuck Schumer of New York, the chamber’s Democratic leader, before rattling off potential scripts for advertisements that are set to begin airing as early as next week. “‘My daughter had cancer. She was doing fine. Well, all of a sudden, her health care was blown up.’ ‘I worked at this rural hospital for 30 years. I put my heart into it because I wanted to help people. I was fired.’ Stuff like that is going to really matter.”

[...]

Democratic groups are also looking to expand their advertising blitz to prominent podcasters, who would read ad scripts on their shows.

They are so excited.

Senator Brian Schatz, Democrat of Hawaii, said the bill’s passage made his party’s long shot dream of winning back the Senate much more realistic.

“To know this bill is to hate it,” Mr. Schatz said in an interview. “But once it’s enacted, people will start to dig into its individual provisions, and, frankly, they are all terrible and unpopular. So our job is to point out, when kids get less to eat, when rural hospitals shutter, when the price of electricity goes up, that this is because of what your Republican elected official did.”

In 100% unsurprising news item #1 - There isn't a single word about that they want to do about anything if they get back in power.

In 100% unsurprising news item #2 - ICE becoming a powerful Gestapo is also not mentioned at all.

Since he ran for the Senate in 1972, it's very likely he had voters of 100+ years old born in the 1860s... And his last voter for 2020 Presidential election would be eligible born on 3rd Nov 2002..

These voters would coexist with people likely from the 1750s to 2120s

His voters would coexist with people from 1750s to 2120s.. These coexisting people would be the last witness of Biden voters... And they would've coexisted with people from the 1630s to 2250s..

Basically the people who coexisted with biden voters also coexisted with all the way from Galileo Galilie to someone who'd be born in 2250s and die in 2370s...

"Elon may get more subsidy than any human being in history, by far, and without subsidies, Elon would probably have to close up shop and head back home to South Africa," Trump continued. "No more Rocket launches, Satellites, or Electric Car Production, and our Country would save a FORTUNE. Perhaps we should have DOGE take a good, hard, look at this? BIG MONEY TO BE SAVED!!!"

https://www.vice.com/en/article/cyclist-billed-1800-for-using-the-ambulance-that-ran-him-over/ An ambulance hit an Oregon cyclist, transported him to the hospital, and then charged him $1,800 for the experience. Wow, how generous.

According to The Oregonian, William Hoesch, 71, was struck by an ambulance while he was on his bike back in 2022. The vehicle made a right turn and hit the cyclist, fracturing his nose and causing other injuries. Not to mention, the ambulance also completely destroyed the man’s bike. While the driver was nice enough to take the man to the hospital, all that kindness was completely erased by the over $1,800 bill Hoesch received for transportation. Of course, this is on top of additional medical expenses Hoesch was left to cover. It seems a bit…tacky to charge someone for a ride after destroying their source of transportation and leaving them injured. Two years later, Hoesch is now filing a lawsuit against the ambulance provider. His attorney, Travis Mayor, claims that Columbia River Fire & Rescue sent Hoesch a $1,862 bill for the ambulance ride. That’s nowhere near the full extent of Hoesch’s medical bills resulting from the accident.

According to the suit, filed on Oct. 24, Hoesch also owes up to $47,000 in medical expenses and expects to rack up $50,000 more in future medical costs. The lawsuit is requesting $900,000 for pain and suffering.

So, in total, he’s asking for $997,000.

The submersible was equipped with two antennas (one external and one located on the upper deck with fiberglass protection) and a Starlink modem, which allows it to communicate via satellite internet. This feature facilitates real-time monitoring and control.

A quote I gave in an interview is at the top of the Drudge Report and I think this has broken my elder Millennial brain.
