Help me

I'm more exposed to American conservatism. And even here I barely understand it. I used to be Christian, but I left the religion before I realized I was bi, and before I knew genderfluidity and trans people existed.

I guess I'd have to know why individual religious groups, countries, cities,(etc...) have anti-LGBTQ beliefs. Maybe there are no blanket statements that properly address it for the entire world.

I have OCD.

And I've lately developed a penchant for clicking on the blue dotted YouTube channels on my subscription list to the left-hand side of the page.

I would rather that I didn't have to see that or deal with that so I can try to "willpower" my way through not clicking them or clicking all of them or as many as I can before getting tired.

But ultimately, it would be easier if there was a way to get rid of the blue dots entirely.

Is there an extension for Mozilla Firefox to adjust the UI so I can get rid of the blue dots?

Or maybe there's a trick to change the formatting on YouTube as is?

Thanks in advance, comrades.

I hope I explained myself well. Thanks!

As opposed, of course, to all of the times they indirectly fuck us over by upholding an unjust system.

So I landed a really nice job with a really cool company and they plan on hiring me this March, but before they can do that I need to pass a drug test. My manager personally doesn't care whether or not I smoke weed but I live in a state where weed is illegal, and the company does care and would bar me from hiring if I were to fail a drug test.

I was stupid and smoked a fuck ton of weed last Sunday (before I knew that A; I need to take a drug test in the first place, and B; that weed can remain present in urine for up to (and possibly over) 30 days in frequent smokers (which I am)). This would originally have been fine if it weren't for the fact that after agreeing to the background check, I would be scheduled for a drug test by the 13th (within 4 days). So my original plan to just drink a shit ton of water to flush myself out within a month wouldn't work.

I also had a plan to sneak in a jar of my sober friend's pee but then I learned that you're actually required to pee in front of the observer so that plan wouldn't work either.

So basically I'm fucked and I don't know what to do :( My future pretty much depends on this job and I don't know what I would do if I were to fuck this opportunity up. What do I do?

Also, idk how relevant this is but I'm 5'9" (~175 cm), 160 lbs (~72.6 kg), AMAB, and very infrequently exercise. I also have POTS so I sweat frequently and have poor water retention.

AFAIK, their war lay primarily in the Pacific, and beyond supporting the Brits and Russians materially, I’m not really sure why the US would want to involve themselves physically in the European theatre. I do feel fear of Germans beating them to the bomb might have something to do with it, but that’s just conjecture.

Let me be clear,

I mean non "natural" deaths, and am including stuff like the failure to counteract malaria due to lack of profit motive, etc etc etc.

Real question, is capitalism the deadliest human invention of all time?

this will probably come down to where you draw the line between capitalism and imperialism, but I'd argue they've been largely once unified force since at least the 1920s

I'm 40 and therefore ancient in terms of internet years, but although I'm British (but one who was born to a Celt and an Southeast Asian born in a British colony, so don't judge me) I really don't remember how Ireland was viewed when I was younger. I didn't have much awareness of current events until I was at least 10, and the Good Friday agreement was signed when I was 15, so I always view the worst of the conflict as something that was before my time.

I know there was a whole stereotype about Irish terrorists, but was that ever used by politicians and/or media figures to prolong the conflict? Are there any verifiable examples of this such as articles or videos?

Am asking for friend here?

I ask because I recall seeing a clip of Putin that was from a fair number of years back where I got the impression he was eager for Russia to be considered a Western country.

What's the opinion of Russians towards Westerners today vs how it was before the SMO? On social media, it's the easiest thing in the world to find some of the most caustic racism being levied towards Russians, and mass media is only 'gentle' when you look at American and British media, I've seen subtitled clips of news shows in Germany and France and there's some of the most heinous, flat out Nazi rhetoric I've ever seen.

A lot of Island nations seem to constantly be in violent conflict. Why?

It's imperialism, isn't it?

I know electoralism is unpopular here, I apologize in advance. Has any party, while campaigning for workers' votes, ever offered to tax unionized workers' wages preferentially; like an excise tax against non-union shops?

I noticed that you can’t deduct, as a business expense, any amount of money spent in furtherance of a crime. Why can't you change tax law so that only a quarter of non-union wages can be deducted from a business' taxable income? (Of course you could also define what a union is to prevent "straw unions", ostensibly controlled by capital.)

It you’ve followed my posts at all, you know my life is very interesting: I’m a homeless trans/non-binary drug addict with an iPhone 12 Mini and a broken heart. Having been homeless 6 of the last 7 years, and certified, licensed drug addict for 4, I get nose-blind to how fucking wild my life really is.

I don’t know what the fuck to write though. Whenever I’ve tried blogging in the past, I’ve always frozen up or hyperfixated and stalled on things like how to tag the posts. I do best when I have prompts, like if someone asks me a question. I can’t do freeform shit man.

I’ve also for a long ass time wanted to make a YouTube channel of some sort, but again I don’t fucking know what I want to do.

Worked a lot as a child and barely played. Missed out on lots of personality development. I have more free time now and I want to play, but I don't totally understand how.

I was told when I have something fun to do, learn to fail the marshmallow test and just immediately eat the marshmallow. I feel paralyzed. I'm used to playing only if I'm invited by someone else to play, and I want to play more when I'm alone.

So far I sometimes draw and read a fun book. Both usually make me anxious, but they bring me feelings of accomplishment.

Why do Liberals and Anti-communists claim Communists and Socialists are "Authoritarian/Totalitarian" when they (libs and anticoms) openly advocate for Authoritarian/Totalitarian Capitalism/Neoliberalism?

I simply can't really understand why do Liberals and Anti-communists always keep saying that Socialism/Communism are "Authoritarian/Totalitarian" ideologies when they, Libs and Anticoms, can openly advocate for Authoritarian/Totalitarian Capitalism/Neoliberalism, whatever if it is advocating for the full privatization of everything and or if it is by having an Authoritarian Capitalist government with a facade democracy and with a quasi-legal appearance.

Like, I simply can't take how much Liberals always complain about "Socialism/Communism is one-party state" when clearly PRC has far more parties than in the USA and than most Westerner countries, as well as even DPRK has more parties on parliament than the USA itself. But still liberals will just go and say "yeah, the multi-party system on the West is not perfect, still it is better than the multi-party system from PRC and DPRK", and stuff like that.

Without mention they will legit say that "council/proletarian/socialist democracy is not democracy because it doesn't allow right-wing parties" but they will say "liberal democracy is democracy because ppl can vote periodically, even if it means they can only vote for liberal parties", and they will even dare to say "ppl should be allowed to have any kind of opinion on a proletarian democracy and freedom of speech should be absolute under a proletarian democracy and no law should violate the absolute freedom of speech" yet they will say "but you have freedom of speech under liberal democracy, as long as what you say don't go against the law" and they will still add "but the laws are made by the majority who voted for them on liberal democracy".

And some of them will even deny the dictatorship of the bourgeoisie because "everyone can be bourgeois" and or "but left-wing canditates are often elected" and just go full survivorship bias about that.

Without mention, you can even mention about the tyranny of the legislative power and of the judicial power and they will say "but it was the ppl who voted for the legislative and the judicial power just obey the legislative", and stuff like that. And some will even dare to say "but if it legal and constitutional, then it is not authoritarianism nor totalitarianism".

I could even mention about how much about spying and the Aiport Security Papers Please thing, but their answer is always like "yet it is not prison, if you don't do anything wrong, you shouldn't fear anything" and or "but they must counter terrorism etc". And you mention about Western political dissidents and stuff and they will say "well, they were antidemocratic, even if they advocated for more democracy, since stuff like direct democracy and democratic socialism are utopian because ppl are just too ignorant, but ppl are very aware of who they are voting on liberal democracy".

And that is fun how they always say "Socialism and Communism = Authoritarianism/Totalitarianism" yet they will just ignore all examples of authoritarianism/totalitarianism under capitalism. And some will even go to "but that is not real democracy" mode, and some will even say "well, liberal democracy doesn't mean freedomocracy, because freedomocracy means that ppl can be free and stuff, and not oppressed nor repressed as it happens under most liberal democracies out that."

And about Colletivism, that is fun how much they claim to be against "Collectivism" and they will claim "Democracy is Collectivism" etc, yet they will go to defend Javier Milei and Ancap politicians until the very end and if you say "but every state is inherently collectivist" and or "but every law is inherently collectivist" or they will just go cognitive dissonance mode and or they will just say "but look, Javier Milei is not a Collectivist himself, he is an Individualist who is just playing with the cards with the Collectivist State and with the Collectivist Laws and the Collectivist Law Enforcement, and he will abolish both three ASAP." And stuff like that.

Sorry if it is quite long post. I just think I said everything about that.
