In an article published by the BBC about the misinformation about the monkeypox outbreak, it noted that social media accounts and news outlets from different countries including China, Russia, Ukraine and the United States have been promoting the idea that the outbreak was caused by a lab leak or that Monkeypox is being used as a bioweapon
