I’m looking for recommendations on high quality open source games to try. Some of my favorite games I’ve played recently are Factorio, Kerbal Space Program, and Outer Wilds, but I’m willing to try many kinds of games (besides FPS).

Has two sets of campaign levels(freedoom 1 & 2), in contrast to the usual sole focus on multiplayer seen in floss FPS games.

The project also maintains a set of deathmatch levels via the "freedm" wad.

Ashes is a Post-apocalypse themed total conversion for the GZDoom engine. It combines old school build style level design and Doom style action with a twist of Stalker and Fallout.

• 2 full episodes and an expansion offering dozens of intricate maps to explore, scavenge and fight through.
• A deadly arsenal of weapons from lowly 9mm pistols to improvised garage railguns.
