News and discussions about celebrities, whether they be actors, musicians, social media influences, politicians, or anyone else of reasonable renown, as well as other cultural issues.

Whatever your political opinion is. It's a sad place to be that a pop star can influence so many people to vote one way or another.

To be as fair as possible, she did say "vote how you want" (paraphrasing). While yes, she did endorse a particular candidate, and give her reasonings, she specifically avoided telling people how to cast their own vote.

That said I'm fully aware that the result will be hundreds of thousands of new votes for her endorsed candidate from people who probably would have abstained otherwise. But it's also worth noting that Trump forced her hand a little by posting false Trump endorsement imagery via "ai".
