What is global news?

Something that happened or was uncovered recently anywhere in the world. It doesn't have to have global implications. Just has to be informative in some way.

The IDF needs to complete another investigation on itself before announcing, "No, it was not a war crime and, no, you cannot see the evidence."

"We've gone over thorough it as much as we thought necessary so it looks like we've done something and we've come to the conclusion that we don't need a punishment for the alleged crimes (the evidence was accidentally misplaced) so there's no way of knowing so we should leave it at that.
