Thunder is my preferred client, with jerboa being second
Honestly thunder is perfect aside from being a tad slow to load sometimes. And it seems to have a little more tendency to experience network issues, but the UI is everything I could ask for
Jerboa might be my favorite if it showed full size link previews since I usually engage visually before I engage with text
Yeah, one of the big fears with moving to a small platform like Lemmy was that the apps wouldn't be nearly as good the Reddit ones, but Thunder is just genuinely fantastic.
If anything I’d say Lemmy has better and more varied apps than Reddit did.
the reddit app ecosystem on android was genuinely fantastic until they started squeezing the devs. RES is also an incredible frontend layer that i haven't seen imitated anywhere on lemmy.
