IMO crypt.ee is better. Yes cryptee does not have auto upload and also no native apps but they progressive web app is awesome. They are recommended by privacyguides. On privacyguides's github you can also read why they don't recommend ente.io

However, the information given is not by the Privacy Guides page itself and the stickied comment by one of the sub's mods says the following:
"Mod Note: Much of what was published in this thread is misinformation, and not accurate.
Ente has been audited: https://ente.io/blog/cryptography-audit/ and the company operates from the US now."
I feel like this is not really a reliable source then and we are not any wiser...
