That's the comment he's replying to. It is possible you can't see it
Do you know why this happens? I don’t see that comment you quoted, I only see the reply to it as a root level comment. I’ve been noticing this all over the place, where a top level comment is clearly replying to something I cannot see.
I would also like to know. I see this happen on every other post and can’t understand it.
Apparently lemmy 0.19 has some federation issues. I know .world hasn't migrated yet, but maybe their instance has.
The user is posting from lemmy.world so maybe it’s an 0.18–>0.19 thing
