He believed he had been doing what was right, despite the political fallout, he told the group, according to the lawmaker.

He didn't care about losing ground in swing states? He believes in genocide so much that he's willing to lose to Trump?

Never trust the American populace to be anything but moronic. We are brainwashed by right wing fuckery that we can't fathom anything beyond "I don't like this, I'll vote for the other" when the other is worse beyond compare. We don't care. We don't understand. We don't care to understand.
