Community for those focused on sustainable travel. Our society's current levels of energy intensive and frequent travel are not compatible with life on a finite planet. We advocate for long-term slow travel to see the world, and low energy local travel to deeply experience your community. Green washing free zone.

The communities listed above are decentralized. Centralized instances are omitted as they go against the fedi purpose and it’s better to cultivate digital rights in the free world. That means instances that have a disproportionately large population or are centralized on Cloudflare are not listed.

Really nice picture, how long did you cycle for?
That picture was exactly in the middle of a three month trip. I was actually on the way to take a plane again because i couldn't take the heat anymore and didn't want to keep going further south. Took a plane to northern Norway from Croatia and cycled back home from there.
Well hope Norway treated you well, it's is where I live 😊
Oh yeah, it was amazing, beautiful. In the beginning the weather was also great ;) I went from Tromsø mostly along the panoramic atlantic route, Senja, Lofoten, further south went more inland. But Norway is also huge and i was kind of happy when i entered Denmark for a change.
Where are you at in Norway, looking at your username probably not Bergen :)
Hahhahah indeed I do not live in Bergen. I'm not too far away from Oslo, e.g. The sunny side 🙌 Jones aside, Bergen and everything north of it, is by far more beautiful imo. The mountains there are so majestic and straight out of fairy-tales. Glad you enjoyed your trip 🤗
