I've witnessed accounts first bashing Majestic Bank, then a few weeks later saying "I just lost hundreds of dollars in an exchange there, I got scammed". I'm refering to localnoderunner, but there are many on Twitter, and some more on Dread I've witnessed are in this behavior. Who is behind these accounts? I'll tell you who gets hurt, the Monero user.

Also, someone posted about Majestic in this forum and a day later you get an article with mostly speculative criticism. Someone is being paid to divide the community. Keep your eyes open.

Hi Blake! I'm sorry, I'm not Majestic. I actually got derailed because I'm smelling something rotten. If we keep our eyes closed to this kind of corruption inside Monero, we'll be following Bitcon's steps in a couple of years.

hey freedomtools. I'm a fan of your site btw.

just seemed funny.

what do you mean by

corruption ?

surely it's fine to question players in the space, nay, interrogate to get a better idea of whats going on

I called out allark previously. tbh I don't know majestic

my site is not online yet, no idea what you mean. Yes, digging into some comments on Dread. Check out localnoderunner for example. The dude has bashed any comments about majestic for years. 3 weeks ago he said it was a scam site, etc. Yet yesterday he posts "I just lost hundreds of dollars on Majestic". Kinda stupid to use Majestic if you're so convinced for so long it's a scam, in my opinion. But he and londonknives actively smear Majestic. So does tuxpizza on twitter. I think somebody is paying for them to talk shit and invent stuff.

Try this, post any slightly positive comment about majestic in reddit or in dread. Anything. I bet you it will not go through. Mods are in on it.

must have mixed up your site with another that had online privacy guides

sounds a bit paranoid to be fair

once again i don't know majestic and have no interest.

but I know Tux is a solid guy, I trust his opinion. he's also a busy guy - I don't think there's an international conspiracy paying random small-time accounts to occasionally bash the reputation of a dodgy exchange. or that the exchange is so good and unique that it attracts the ire of bigger powers, it seems very unlikely to me.

are you pro-majestic? if so, can you make an iron man case for the exchange?

once again, I don't actually care about majestic but I'm interested that good info is being passed around the community - particularly at this pivotal era where exchanges are key

I'm not pro anything, I use it often and once I had an exchange stuck, I reached out and support helped me with no issues. What I like about it since you asked, is its low profile, the litecoin you send gets MWEBd, and you get sent mwed ltc, and if I had to bet on which exchange would never ask you for kyc, it's those dudes.
Hope you found this helpful. I just got into this rabbit hole because I saw something I didn't like in XMR in reddit and dread.
