The casting choices are just so weird. Across the board.

Jack Black as a mouthy robot makes the most sense. Actually, that’s the only one that makes any sense at all.

Kinda.... but they had the original voice actor to choose from. I'm willing to bet Noone has ever said "Oh let's go see the latest Jack Black film"

I have, but it’s been a minute.

Hollywood will never use the OVA for a character unless they were already a Hollywood star.
