I'm new to Steam and pc gaming, grabbed an OLED deck a little bit ago. I'm looking for recommendations for FPS and RPGs that I can play offline. I've never played any of the Elder Scrolls stuff should I grab one of them? What do you suggest?
Not one of the types you were asking about, but Hades feels like it's made for the Steam Deck, and it's a great game (and also on sale)
For FPS games, Doom (2016) is one of the all-time single-player FPS games and runs great on the Deck.
Doom 2016 was just about perfect. It blended old-shool FPS fundamentals with modern aiming, collectibles, etc.
