Last night (September 27), the iconic punks Bad Religion took over The Majestic Ventura Theater in Ventura, California for the first show of their fall tour. Originally announced in early August, the tour has Bad Religion bringing Speed of Light on a short string of shows that has the two bands on the road until the end of October. The tour follows a busy summer of festival appearances for Bad Religion with the band making appearances everywhere from Tokyo to Australia. With no festival restrictions, the band pieced together a career-spanning setlist for the first night of their fall tour in Ventura.

Bad Religion tore through classics and B-sides for a night that encompassed their storied career. The band kicked things off with “Epiphany” from their 2002 LP Process of Belief, the band also performed “Sorrow” from the LP. The main focus was on albums like Recipe For Hate and Suffer with four songs from each album taking up room in the setlist. The band performed tracks like “American Jesus” and “Skyscraper” from Recipe For Hate and pulled out “Best For You” and “Do What You Want” off of Suffer. The remainder of the tracklist saw the band sorting through their colorful discography, performing songs from classic albums like Noo Control and more recent releases like 2019’s Age of Unreason.

After a thunderous first show in sunny Ventura, Bad Religion is gearing up for one hell of an autumn. Their next two stops have the band staying in California, hitting Riverside and San Diego before heading up the coast to Eugene, Oregon. The band will be on the road until the end of October and hit cities like Denver, Minneapolis, and New Haven. Check out the full list of dates, setlist, and footage from last night’s show below. The band promises to play songs from their entire catalogue, but that: "you can expect a solid nod to Recipe For Hate, which hit its 30-year anniversary in 2023."

Don’t call it an “All-Star” band or have any illusion that BEACH RATS is anything more than five punk rock lifers in an Asbury Park basement making a riot of their own. “It’s loose, it’s imperfect, don’t overthink it,” says Baker. “It’s the experience of doing it. The time travel, that’s what it’s about.”

Two (TWO!!) shows listed as of right now on the official website. I believe I heard they're playing several other festivals this summer.

Putting together a community for fans of Bad Religion- anything goes, discussion, photos etc.

I am a huge fan of Bad Religion

I even bought a brown Fender Precision

Signing to Atlantic was a really bad decision

Now they're back on Epitaph, hey

I bought Suffer then I bought a thesaurus

Then Graffin sang on S&M Airlines chorus

Now we hang out and party

On each other's tour bus

Cuz the old bands know how to have fun
