Have You Tried Contacting The Sheriff Without Capitalizing Every Word You Write In The Email? Maybe That Will Work.

Not to give the sovcit nut any credit, but it is kinda bullshit cops can just see a stationary vehicle in someone's driveway, without plates, and seize it.

Out in a public parking lot or actively driving I get, but they're seriously just gonna take somebodies project car? Right out in front of their home?

Sovcit here was probably caught driving it around and followed home.

never had an issue with the way the car is parked

I have a strong feeling the car was parked on the street and not private property.

In many areas you are not allowed to have a project car even on your own property, but I've never heard of anywhere that will allow you to park one on the side of a public road unregistered and unplated.

I doubt this car was sitting on private property.

How do I get my car back? ... They say I need to register and insure it.

Ok, maybe start with registration and insurance?
