Close to a year ago now, I had an episode of AFib. After a very successful procedure to open a blocked artery, and cardiac rehab after, the challenge is to lose weight and get my diet under control. But that’s not so easy. I love boxing and can do a boxing workout now (although blood thinners sadly prevent me from sparring). But I’m missing the motivation. Work needs to be done.

I’m hoping this subreddit will provide inspiration, motivation, and help for whoever needs it. Also, information and recommendations for gear, and a place to share successes and failures. Please join me!

Glad I found this community. Motivation can be a struggle sometimes. No matter how long you've been training there will be days when you're just not feeling it. I have those days too. But remember: no one has ever regretted turning up to a training session. Keep working, keep ginding. Hope I'm not too late for this discussion, I see this was posted 3 months ago.
