I tried something like that 2-3 months ago on a 4.4 device. Sadly didn't work.

@yesfreenet @Captain_Baka What happens if you install the certificate and then right the F-Droid Client package? Do you have any screenshots of the error?

I had already installed F-Droid and also set it up to only use Archive but it didn't load the app list. Don't know why, it just said that it couldn't load any packages.
