Unless he forgot, Trump is well aware of her.
She was one of the lead Canadian negotiators during the re-negotian of NAFTA (a process Trump triggered because he pretended he could negotiate a better deal). She was tough and capable, and Trump hated that.
Also, she is very strong on supporting Ukraine against Russia, so Putin also dislikes her to the point of adding her to the list of individuals banned from Russian territory.
The Great State of Canada
I have to give myself daily reminders that the US and Canada are still allies, despite him acting this way.
The problem with him is that he doesn't uphold his agreements. Combine that with him thinking that the President is King and the US is an extension of himself means that you can no longer trust the US to uphold its agreements. So, no we are no longer allies in any way that you can count on. I'd suggest that Canada pay lip service to the "allies" bit, but not count on it in any way.
Given who the US allies with, you might want to take the opportunity and join the right side of history as a nation and isolate yourselves from the US.
It's kinda hard to isolate outselves from the US when we share a 5500 mile long land border.
Like it or not, they're always going to be an outsized factor of life here.
Especially with how the US have treated their allies in the past. With Trump it's just going to be more apparent and open.

But the head Nazi says stupid shit on social media with the sole purpose of pissing people off. Canadian news media righteously repeat it ad nauseam. Then more social media (Lemmy) righteously links to the news sites, vastly expanding his original reach.
The media needs to take a principled stance and calmly call out his bullshit as bullshit - and we have a responsibility to not amplify it.
Actual matters of state - report on that all you want, as much of a shitshow as it's going to be; but the only way to address his infantile rants is to treat him like an infant.
Do you think his comments and attitude towards our elected officials don't matter? I think they do. To me this isn't just one of his random mouth farts.
