What is your favourite ship built in Scotland? (I toured some historical ships in Dundee once...)

What is your favourite castle for historical stories?

[–] JadedJade@lemmy.world 4 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

I'd say the discovery because of its arctic expeditions and for castle I can't look past Glamis

[–] troyunrau@lemmy.ca 5 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Tell me about Glamis and why it is cool 😎

Glamis Castle is the setting of shakespeares Macbeth. It's also historically a royal home so the queen mother used to stay there as a child. It's also got multiple ghost stories associated with it and it's still open to the public the way it was hundred of years ago with tours being available to u can relive its history

[–] JadedJade@lemmy.world 3 points 2 weeks ago

Just found it as a Reddit alternative and my fave historical moment is the war of the four Pictish kings
