They make more money by porting it to PC after a couple years rather than keeping it exclusive forever.
Yup, I don't feel like paying $500 just to play one game, as good as it is. I could pick up a used PS5 and then sell it when I'm done, but that's a much bigger pain than just buying it on steam.
Yep, had the PS3 and PS4 alongside the PC, but just prefer waiting for a PC port whenever it comes out this generation. Particularly because gaming caliber PC is something I'll have regardless, so don't feel like spending any extra on hardware anymore for just exclusives.
Man I love this game but I can feel the story wrapping up and I'm already dreading ending it. Gina probably put it down at the end and wait for a Ng+ update. This game has been bananas fun
I think it's probably the most unashamedly enjoyable game I've played in a long time.
How does it differ from the first and MM?
Ive been avoiding the marketing (I'm on PC so it will be a while before I get to play it) but I'm really curious on the improvements they've made, aside from having both Pete and Miles playable.
It feels very similar, gameplay-wise. Traversal is still super engaging and fun, the combat is pretty fluid (it starts out kinda rough until you upgrade your skills), and visually it's amazing. If you liked either of the previous games, you'll like this one. It hits all the same notes, plus some new ones.
As for differences, there aren't many. You can fly/glide now, you can switch between Spider Men, there's some new gadgets, some new skills to compliment the old ones, etc.
There's a lot of low-key flexes the devs snuck in that you might not even notice while you're playing, which just goes to show exactly how well they've optimized the game. Things like full-city zooms with no pop-in, extreme close-ups, etc.
