What did I miss?
All in the second image are former "useful resources" that the US used to further her goals abroad... and then left them high and dry once they no longer had need of them. Ukraine is losing support from the US, for at least the next four years. Since, ya know, Trump is a Putin asset.
It really is not the end of the world. The US is losing its relevancy more and more, day by day. I haven’t felt a more united Europe in a long while.

It has a lot of people in denial, but it’s about as concise a take as there is..
I'm glad the EU seems to be stepping up to bat, at least. Can't say how well that's going to work out in the long term, though.
