From an European standpoint, all we can hope for is a massive GDP decrease in the US, so they are less a danger for us. Stop using american digital services...

Trump said there will be pain before America is "great again". So, expect any news like this to be ignored by the party of "fiscal responsiblility".

No shit. GDP includes government programs and employment. Even if there weren't any knock-on effects (which there are) GDP would still drop.
