Inb4 it turns out they bought it to promote an AI that specializes in connection and humanity...

What, me, bitter? Naaaw, what makes you think so?

Edit: turns out I have not a single original thought in my head: https://marketoonist.com/2022/08/ai-generated-marketing-content.html

They named their two new AI models "connection" and "humanity".

Digg still exists? I had no idea.

[–] Bronzebeard@lemm.ee 6 points 5 days ago

It has morphed into something completely different them the link sharing site it used to be.

I think it would be funny if Digg made a comeback

Not surprised as he has mentioned quite a number of times on the revived diggnation show that he would like to have it back. Lets see if he can avoid enshittifying it before it goes up again.

Slashdot crashed and burned during its 'beta' phase and never fully recovered - 'partially'-recovered would be generous, at best. Cowboy Neal ate Natalie Portman's grits - insensitive clod.
