Meg is so bad at math she forced the owl to do the calculation.

I was a bit worried the story would continue to be too light-hearted despite such sensitive topics as dying and losing your loved ones, but the second half of this episode somewhat reassured me.

I can't really shake the feeling that this anime's been specifically set up to get the audience to cry. I'm not sure how to feel about that.

Also, I've never heard an argument/fight being referred to as a "row"

I am not watching this show, but just saw this comment as I was going through rikka replies. The use of "row" meaning an argument is a bit antiquated, but still not that out of the ordinary. I see it more commonly in British writing/speaking than American. Also, when used in this way, it is typically pronounced like the beginning of the word round rather than the begging of road.

Damn, even if I saw that coming, I still wound up cutting onions...

Meg needs to get going really fast now, or the math says she won't catch up.

I'm surprised she didn't get a drop from her friend in the first half.

she didn't get a drop from her friend in the first half.

She did though, didn't she? She had 4 drops by the end of the episode
