Maybe the genie was espousing the perfect adventurist plot and target that would truly get the masses to rise this time before it got redacted. On the other hand the genie probably told the character they needed to organize and maybe even recited multiple entire audiobooks before it got removed.

Well, if that’s what was needed to give them the power to stop climate change, then the genie was capable of doing it. Or the genie might have just given book recommendations so good they had to be redacted to avoid giving meme readers resources of forbidden knowledge.

Oh shucks, you're right, I guess we'd better just try doing nothing at all instead and hope that works. Or we could "vote" away climate change. Sure, our governments keep ignoring the public in favour of big oil companies, but maybe if we just vote harder they might finally listen to us.
